Summer Soccer Programs

Future Stars

The Future Stars program is a specialized training program for young children between the ages of 4 and 7 years old (born between 2020  and 2018). The program is based on an advanced European academy program and is designed to teach fundamental soccer skills such as dribbling, controlling, shooting, and playing games. Our main objective is to provide a fun-filled learning environment for these little stars to develop their soccer skills while having fun. Our coaching team is dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment that encourages children to learn, grow, and develop their skills to become future soccer stars. The program consists of 1 or 2 sessions each week. The training details are as follows:

  • Training time and day:
    • Future Stars I (May 26th - August 25th, 2024)
      • 12 sessions in summer
      • 6:00- 7:00 pm Sundays, Madill Common Park, 525 Huntington Ridge Dr
    • Future Stars II (May 13th - August 29th, 2024)
      • 32 sessions in summer
      • 6:00 - 7:00 pm Mondays, Hawthorn Valley Park, 5165 Fairwind Drive;
      • 6:00 - 7:00 pm Thursdays, Madill Common Park, 525 Huntington Ridge Dr
  • Program cost:
    • Future Stars I, $220 (before tax)
    • Future Stars II, $510 (before tax)

​Super Girls Program

Welcome to the Mississauga United Super Girls Program! We're thrilled to introduce this initiative aimed at nurturing young talent and fostering a love for soccer among girls in our community. Below are the program guidelines and schedule details:
  1. Eligibility:
    • The program is open to girls born between 2017 and 2020.
    • Participants must have a keen interest in learning soccer skills and having fun.
  2. Program Objectives:
    • To facilitate learning of soccer skills through engaging and enjoyable activities.
    • To provide a supportive environment for girls to develop their soccer abilities.
    • To complement the Future Stars Program by focusing on girls' soccer development in a fun-filled setting.
    • To foster personal growth and teamwork among participants.
  3. Program Structure:
    • The program follows the Canada Soccer Grassroots Standard to ensure quality and consistency.
    • Sessions are designed to incorporate various fun activities tailored to the age and skill level of participants.
    • Each week, participants will engage in two sessions to maximize learning and skill development.
  4. Schedule Details:
    • Length of the program: May 13th - August 29th, 2024
    • 32 sessions in summer
    • Mondays, 6:00 - 7:00 pm at Hawthorn Valley Park, 5165 Fairwind Drive
    • Thursdays, 6:00 - 7:00 pm at Madill Common Park, 525 Huntington Ridge Dr
  5. Curriculum:
    • The curriculum will focus on fundamental soccer skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and basic game tactics.
    • Activities will be designed to promote teamwork, communication, and confidence on the field.
    • Coaches will provide age-appropriate instruction and feedback to support each participant's development.
  6. Program Cost:
    • $200 (before tax)
    • As a new program, the club is offering a super competitive rate to encourage more girls to join this fun-filled sport.

    • No Early Bird Rate  applies in this program,  the program is setting its capacity at 20 GIRLs ONLY.
  7. Equipment:
    • Participants are required to wear appropriate soccer attire, including cleats and shin guards, during sessions.
    • Soccer balls and uniforms will be provided.
  8. Safety:
    • The safety and well-being of participants are our top priorities. Coaches are trained to create a safe and inclusive environment for all.
  9. Feedback:
    • We value feedback from participants and parents to enhance the program experience. Please feel free to share any suggestions or concerns with program staff at any time.

Development 

The Development Program builds upon the fundamental skills outlined in the Future Stars Program, with a focus on maintaining skill development, mental awareness, building physical fitness, and teaching young players how to compete. Designed for players between the ages of 7 and 13 years old (born between 2017 and 2011), the program is divided into different groups based on age and skill level. Each player will be allocated to train with an appropriate group, providing individualized attention and coaching to help them reach their full potential. The program consists of two 90-minute training sessions each week, allowing players ample time to develop their skills and improve their physical and mental fitness. With a strong emphasis on skill development and competition, the Development Program is the perfect environment for young soccer players to grow and thrive. The training details are as follows:

Performance Group (Competitive Programs)


Program Overview:

The Performance Program is crafted to empower young athletes born between 2017 and 2013, offering a comprehensive approach to skill development, teamwork, and competitive play. This program features a combination of Rep Teams and All-Star Teams, each benefiting from dedicated veteran coaches and a tailored training regimen. The structure of the Performance Program is detailed as follows:

  1. Objective:
    • The primary goal is to assist young athletes in reaching their full potential by refining competitive skills, fostering a positive training attitude, enhancing mental toughness, promoting teamwork, and applying acquired skills effectively in competitive scenarios.
  2. Team Structure:
    • The program consists of Club's Rep Teams and All-Star Teams.
    • Teams are organized based on players' ages, skill levels, and training performance to ensure a personalized and effective development path.
  3. Coaching Expertise:
    • Each team is guided by dedicated veteran coaches with expertise in nurturing young talent.
    • Coaches focus on individualized coaching to address specific needs, fostering an environment conducive to skill development and overall growth.
  4. Training Schedule:
    • Teams adhere to a rigorous training schedule tailored to the unique needs and abilities of the players.
    • The training sessions focus on skill enhancement, tactical understanding, and physical conditioning.
  5. Program Components:
    • All-Star Teams: Transitional programs preparing players for competitive play.
    • U8/U9 Club Rep. Teams (born in 2015, 2016 and 2017): Competitive teams with a specific program guideline.
    • U10/U11 Club Rep. Teams (born between 2015 and 2013): Competitive teams with a tailored program guideline.
